The bed is designed so when in bed mode, the seat cushions, padded armrests, and foot stool all align with the surrounding horizontal padded surfaces, adding more space for sleeping.

Forty-two ergonomically designed seats, arranged in pairs comprised of forward facing aisle and rear facing window/centre seats. Each seat has a small drawer to store your personal items. Note, the display must be stowed during take-off and landing. When the seats are converted to flat beds, access/egress to window and centre seats typically involves stepping over your neighbour's feet. The seats located at the rear of cabin avoid this obstacle. There is typically a few inches of "breathing" space around the edges of the foot stool which allow you extend your feet beyond the cushioned surface. Note, on longer flights seat 7K is reserved for crew use.
