Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Route Explorer. By using the Service, you agree to them. Please read them carefully, especially the flight-data disclaimer and the subscription terms.

1. Agreement

Route Explorer (the “Service”) is provided by StaffTraveler Solutions B.V. (“StaffTraveler”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), Keulschevaart 19, 3621 MX Breukelen, The Netherlands. By accessing or using the Service, whether on the web or through our iOS or Android apps, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you sign in, you must have a valid StaffTraveler account and comply with the StaffTraveler Terms & Conditions. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

3. The Service

Route Explorer is a free tool for exploring flight routes and connections worldwide. Signing in with your StaffTraveler account is optional and unlocks features that use your profile and non-revenue airline agreements. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

4. Route Explorer Pro subscription

Some features are available through an optional auto-renewing subscription called Route Explorer Pro. Subscribing is never required to use the free features of the Service.

  • Price: USD 1.99 per month or USD 14.99 per year. Prices may vary by country and currency and may change; we will give notice of changes as required by the app stores and applicable law.
  • Free trial: new subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription and you will be charged.
  • Billing: subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your app-store account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Managing and cancelling: you can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
  • Refunds: refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

Purchases made through the Apple App Store are also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), and purchases through Google Play are subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

5. Flight data disclaimer

Flight schedules, routes, connections, aircraft, and related information are supplied by third-party data sources, including OAG and others, and are provided “as is” for general, informational purposes only. This information may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or out of date, and schedules and seat availability change frequently.

Always verify flight details, schedules, and non-revenue travel information directly with the operating airline before making any travel decision. Route Explorer is a planning aid, not a booking or ticketing service, and does not guarantee travel, boarding, or seat availability.

6. No airline affiliation

Route Explorer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any airline. Airline names, codes, and logos are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify routes and flights.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or bulk-download data from the Service, or otherwise circumvent rate limits or access controls;
  • copy, resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or its data without our written permission;
  • modify, translate, adapt, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the Service, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it or its related systems; or
  • use the Service for any unlawful or infringing purpose.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding third-party data and trademarks), is owned by StaffTraveler and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial use, subject to these terms.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as the Apple App Store, Google Play, Google (Firebase), and RevenueCat. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StaffTraveler will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on flight data or your inability to travel, resulting from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time; cancelling a subscription is handled through your app-store account as described above.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. To the extent permitted by law, any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Any claim must be brought within two (2) years of the date on which it arose.
